W.A.V.E — Evangelism · Relief · Development
An indigenous Christian organization raising support for displaced and persecuted believers in Nigeria — through youth empowerment, pastoral training, and community development rooted in sound Biblical doctrine.
Islamic militant groups are waging genocide against Nigerian Christians — kidnapping families, burning villages, displacing communities, and forcing children into conversion. W.A.V.E. responds with tangible support, Gospel-centered training, and the truth that sets people free.
Four areas where W.A.V.E. directs its work — all rooted in Biblical truth and practical compassion for those who have suffered most.
50–60% youth unemployment in affected regions. W.A.V.E. trains young people to be self-sufficient through vocational and agricultural programs — building futures from the ground up.
Pushing back against prosperity gospel that misleads believers living in poverty. We teach what Scripture actually says — because truth matters most when life is hardest.
Equipping pastors and church leaders with sound theology and practical ministry tools — building the capacity of the church to serve its own communities.
Where churches have been destroyed and families displaced, W.A.V.E. helps rebuild congregations — restoring places to worship and standing with believers who refuse to abandon their faith.
Practical programs that address both spiritual and physical hunger — because W.A.V.E. was built for the whole person, not just the soul.
Displaced youth learn sustainable farming skills, feed themselves during training, and build toward economic independence. The farm provides nourishment and a career pathway — trusting God to provide while equipping His people to work with dignity.
Equipping pastors and ministers with sound Biblical doctrine within the Pentecostal movement — combating false teaching with truth, and building a generation of leaders who serve rather than exploit their congregations.
Across northern and central Nigeria, churches have been attacked, burned, and destroyed, and congregations scattered. W.A.V.E. helps rebuild these houses of worship and restore the communities around them — so believers who have lost everything can gather, worship, and heal again. Your support puts roofs back over the church.
Through Fellowship of Christian Students alumni networks — W.A.V.E. trains students from elementary through university to lead as servants of Christ. The goal is to develop leaders who bear the image of Christ, not cultural success metrics.
Poverty is not a lack of faith. Christianity has been weaponized as prosperity gospel — and we are here to preach the truth that sets people free.— Pastor Faleke, Founder · W.A.V.E.

A former Vice President of the student union and alumnus of the Fellowship of Christian Students — with 10 years of pastoral ministry in Nigeria. Pastor Faleke built W.A.V.E. from lived experience in the crisis, with established relationships inside C.A.N. and P.F.N. that open doors for training and ministry across West Africa.
Currently based in Washington State, partnering with local ministries including Seed the Word Ministry to build a bridge between West African persecuted communities and American churches that want to stand with their brothers and sisters in Christ.
The work is not theoretical. The crisis is real. The response is organized, trained, and already underway.
